Hello there hellcats and welcome to Retail Hell a site dedicated to the retail workers of the world.
It’s Lil’ Mephisto here, your guide to the underworld.
You see kiddies after more years trapped in the foul pit of retail hell than any sane person could survive I escaped with a mission… to share my twisted tales of torture with the world and to encourage others to share their tales of woe as well so that we might all someday overthrow the great gods of retail and take back our souls.
So join me and my brethren as we tell you the truth about life in retail hell.
You can add your own tales of woe and meet other minions trapped in their own personal hells on the staff notice board (the forum folks!) the best stories featured there will make it to the front page of the site for all the world to see, so get writing now you wage slaves!
And remember if it all gets too much for you it’s never too late to look for a new job!

Today I had a customer ask me the same questions over and over again about three different phones. This is a CLASS of customer, they are known as ” The Repeaters ”
There needs to be a class/code made for ALL of retail that defines a certain customer. A code that will define, rude, dumb, aggrovating and offensive customers etc….
For example Dumb customers could be called
” Paris ” after Paris Hilton - so a conversation would go… ” Hey John how are you???” - ” I’m okay Keith I just delt with a Paris”
How about the fudge budgie, a customer that constantly uses the instore toilets
haha i worked in retail for a year in a store were it seemed was a magnet for every type of bad and disrepectful customer u can come across i generally found old, people from different country who cant speak fluent english, oh yeh and the all the nutcases and wierdos that make u wonder how they get by in everyday life were the worst types and quite common unfortunetly. the only way to deal with sum of these people is to really hold ur anger and frustration in and almost block them out but give them wat they want while sumhow producing a smile on ur face then have a punching bag set up in the lunch room and go out for a durry every half hour and u can only just let ur frustration out enough u can serve several of these fukwits everyday wat would be really good is if a sexy shiela of sum sort dragged u out the back and started fucking you this would be the best yet least common way of letting out ur days frustration ha but the whole retail thing really does suck crap pay, dealing with imbisiles, ur fukhead of a boss telling u to keep urself busy all day everyday wen ur stuck in the same fuked up store with nuthing to do. THE ULTIMATE DECISION.. Quit like i did and dont get stuck in the everyday give and take!!!! find a more rewarding career….
